It was suggested that the public keep their Halloween costumes to participate in the event, as a costume contest was held at the end of the night. This "red carpet" affair was held at Scottsdale Resort and Athletic Club, where guests were served wonderful food and drinks while they played an array of casino games such as Blackjack, Texas hold 'em, Craps, Big 6 and slot machines. The evening was filled with fun door prizes and grand raffle prizes. Guests enjoyed tarot card readers, and even a personal cigar roller. The event ended with the best raffle prize of all – one lucky guest was chosen to release a rehabilitated great horned owl.
