Wishes for Wildlife 2009

We also are very thankful for the beautiful night. The temperature was postcard perfect….no wind, no dust, no rain, no heat, no cold…just down-right perfection as guests were greeted by our fabulous educators and their educational ambassadors. The feeling was electric, people were awed by the beauty of the animals and the ambiance, and all in all, the guests appeared to have a wonderful time.

One of the best parts of the evening was that we made new friends. It is such a pleasure to introduce this organization to a new group of enthusiasts. We were blessed by Robby and Shannon Sinkler, Wild Sky Productions, who gave an entertaining and educational three-part program using their trained birds…allowing the audience to get a up-close view of some of the interesting characteristics of white-necked vultures, eagle owls, great horned owls, auger buzzards, and black vultures. You can see Wild Sky Productions in their new venue in Tombstone, Arizona….go for a visit for an expanded bird of prey show that will thrill and educate.

Thanks to all of you for the wonderful evening. Start making plans for next year’s event. Now put your hands together and give a loud applause to all of those guests, volunteers and staff that made the night possible.
