Wishes for Wildlife

Liberty Wildlife’s main fund raiser, Wishes for Wildlife, is held every spring. Our educational ambassadors greet guests as they arrive, allowing everyone to have a personal experience with native wildlife. The event begins with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a first-class silent auction followed by a exquisite dinner. In the past, the event has included a live auction, a raffle, and the moonlit flight of a bird of prey. This is a must-attend benefit that you will never forget. For more information on this year’s event, please go to www.wishesforwildlife.org.

Orientations and Trainings

New Volunteer Orientations for people wanting to learn more about volunteering are held the second Saturday of every month. For more information and to fill out an application, go to the Volunteer page on this website.

Liberty Wildlife Opens to the Public

The Rob and Melani Walton Campus of Liberty Wildlife’s Volunteers and Wildlife Ambassadors cordially invite you to come and see our new facility.  Because Liberty’s facilities are only open to the public at specific times, please make note of the days and times for the opportunity to see how we fulfill our mission to “nurture the nature of Arizona.”

We are currently open to the public from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

During your visit, you will experience firsthand what most people might only watch on the Discovery Channel. You will observe our staff and volunteers training and feeding our Educational Ambassadors. At times, you might be able to watch through viewing windows as our medical staff provides care for the current patients and inhabitants at our facility.

Public Hours are seasonally adjusted for the welfare of our animals. For information about hours of operation, questions about the facility, or to make a donation, please call our Liberty Wildlife Hotline at 480-998-5550.
