Peace on Earth, Goodwill Toward Doves

By: Greg Martin,
Medical Services Volunteer

With its holidays and the sentiments that come with the ending of the year, no other month is as full of hope and good wishes as December. Eagles may have cornered the market on majesty, and owls on wisdom, but doves embody something loftier, the potential of our better natures. As Liberty Wildlife turns the page after another year of caring for thousands of injured birds, it's fitting to consider that doves have a particularly special meaning for us as well.
