Every couple of months, Liberty Wildlife holds training sessions for new Rescue and Transport volunteers and new Hotline volunteers. Away from the limelight and activity of the center, these volunteers work independently and contribute greatly to the success of the organization.

The relationship Liberty Wildlife has with the educational community has been developing for years. Each season, we do more presentations than the previous year, making more friends along the way. This fall, we presented to the third-grade class at Tesseract School in Paradise Valley.

Born to be Wild

Liberty Wildlife's inaugural Born to be Wild Poker Run, sponsored by Chester's Harley-Davidson, will be held on Sunday, March 9. The run will begin at Chester's Harley-Davidson in Mesa and end at Greasewood Flat. There will be music, food, raffle, 50/50, a silent auction and much more. Coming up on February 9 will be the kickoff event at Chester's. Come on out and get registered, and enjoy a chili cook-off, some music and good company. See you at Chester's at 922 S. Country Club Drive (1/2 mile north of Southern Ave. - [map]) in Mesa from 10 am til 2 pm.
