Nature News - A monthly e-publication from Liberty Wildlife

Spring is near, and that means baby bird season! Who can resist those downy little peepers with the big appetites? Like all babies, Arizona's nestlings and fledgling have lots of appeal, and we will need plenty of help feeding and raising these feathered kids. If you have a few spare hours a week, please consider volunteering to help in the orphan care center. We have three shifts per day every day of the week, so there are hours that fit every schedule. We provide plenty of training and support, and you will learn a good deal about native wildlife, while helping to save tiny lives. Please call (480) 998-5550 and choose option two to volunteer. Orphan care is seasonal, so volunteers only work from mid-April to early September. Volunteers must be 18 or older.

Liberty Wildlife is looking forward to the 2008 Wishes for Wildlife annual fund-raising event. Come and join us this year at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix for this fun and exciting evening on Saturday, May 3, 2008. You will enjoy taking part in fabulous silent and live auctions, enticing raffles, wonderful fine food and drinks, and of course a magnificent finale with a live free-flight demonstration showcasing a trained bird of prey.

This evening will certainly make a lasting impression on all who attend. Please help support Liberty Wildlife by attending this benefit fund-raiser or by making a tax-deductible contribution. If you would like to request an invitation, please contact Liberty Wildlife

End of Year

It is hard to believe that 2007 has come and gone and that we have already launched into 2008. Where does the time go? I can answer that question for Liberty Wildlife. It goes into a huge amount of activities surrounding rehabilitation, education, and research and conservation.
