Nature News - A monthly e-publication from Liberty Wildlife

When we tell people Liberty Wildlife is located in Scottsdale, they sometimes assume that we are limited to the Phoenix metropolitan area. In fact, when I first began doing rescues, we actually seemed to be more local in nature. But as our own species spread across the land, the need for Liberty to extend our reach beyond the city grew. Not only are we doing rescues farther from home, but we are also networking with other agencies working in the fields of environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation. In some cases, this necessitates an increasing amount of travel by our volunteers. Two recent excursions illustrate this graphically.

For the fourth year in a row, Liberty Wildlife was fortunate enough to participate in the 'Miracle on Main Street' event at the local Kierland Commons shopping center November 24-25, 2007.
