 The animals chosen to be on display varied for both days, encompassing just about every species in our wonderful education collection. The event was a great opportunity for Liberty Wildlife, as staff and volunteers were able to promote the organization and do some fund-raising. Raffle tickets were available for shoppers who were interested in the fabulous holiday prizes, and Liberty Wildlife's stunning logo Charity Charms and complementing jewelry were hot items. This was our first opportunity to raise awareness for Liberty's new Assistance for Wildlife Educators (AWE) sponsorship program, allowing the public to sponsor education and foster animals housed at the facility, a program that was well received by residents of the Valley as well as tourists visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday. Another huge hit with the children were the trading cards detailing the animals on display. An incredible amount of money was raised over the weekend through raffle sales, charm sales, sponsorships and cash donations. Liberty looks forward to participating in the event again next year.
