Consultation Services

Liberty Wildlife contracts with companies, agencies, and people interested in good environmental stewardship and realistic solutions to provide environmental and consultation services to human/wildlife conflicts. We specialize in wildlife issues related to the utility industry and are presently conducting the following projects:



  • Design and implementation of avian protection programs for companies and cooperatives (APS, SRP).
  • Development of a database of avian electrocutions in Arizona (USFWS).
  • Gathering historic electrocution data in the Tucson and Phoenix Metro areas. (USFWS).
  • Producing a manual for effective avian protection programs in the Southwest (National Fish and Wildlife Foundation).
  • Spanish translation of a manual on avian protection in the utility industry for US/Mexico border utilities (Sonoran Joint Venture).

Liberty Wildlife also conducts a wide range of research and management projects:

  • Field research on wildlife and ecological topics
  • EIS surveys and species monitoring
  • Burrowing owl survey, clearance, relocation, and artificial burrow installation
  • Raptor productivity monitoring
  • Educational and training programs (staff training and public education programs)
