Ahoy Mates.  Listen up all blog readers.  There is still time to purchase a ticket to the October 3rd Cruise for Wildlife.  There are a few tickets left for this fabulous water trek on the fabulous Out of the Blue, the most luxurious boat on Lake Pleasant.  Check it out at www.outofthebluehouseboat.com.

You can begin boarding the chartered bus (or you can drive yourself) to the dock where you will be   greeted by Liberty Wildlife’s educational ambassadors….the likes of hawks, owls, falcon, eagles and other native  creatures with their most informed educator/handlers.

You will embark at 5:30 and glide across the lake to the Agua Fria River that empties into the lake between beautiful canyon walls.  Nestled in the canyon you will be in eagle territory with the strong possibility of seeing eagles in the wild…a site only visible to boaters in the non-breeding season…a special gift to guests aboard.

While afloat, guests will enjoy an informative program about the natural history of the area along with information on the Native American people who have inhabited the area in the past.

Food galore

You will be served delicious edibles and will be able to partake of an open bar.  No worries because the bus will be there to take you back to the pickup/drop off spot.  And, the coolest part is that your travels will also include sharing the deck with a unique voyager, Aurora, the bald eagle.

If you are interested in being a part of this beautiful evening, please contact me, megan@libertywildlife.org to make your reservation. Tickets are $150 per person. Details of bus stop and/or dock location will follow after receiving your desire to join us.

It’s Labor Day, 2015, and in honor of this holiday, we’re keeping it short today. Please read (and heed!) Megan’s H3 above. I have some items for the update and I’ll post most of them next week. In the meantime, here’s some photos that won’t wait! Have a safe holiday and we’ll see you next week on TW@L!
